hey guys...I'm needin' some moolah to save up for a car (!!) at some point, so I'm thinking about jumping into the laundro/ebay stuff...auctioning, putting up my sale list, etc.But I'm a little worried, I've never done this before! How have your experiences been? I guess I can't really lose too much since people usually send payment/trade first, right? But still, I'm skeptical. Any hints/advice/personal stories? This sounds like fun, I just want to make sure Thanks!! IP: Logged |

hi! welcome! definatly go for it! it's really fun! i used to get lots of fake bidders on my auctions, but that's gotten a lot better now! other than that i've only had one problem with someone whos not a user any more (i dont think). i sent her a shirt first and it took her 3 months to send the money, but it eventually got here. thats all the problems ive had (and ive done alot of transactions)! yeah, well i say you should start selling stuff on here & ebay! its great!------------------ *BR!TT*

yes, they do send you payment first. don't ever send the item until you get payment, unless it's a trade. then you can both send at the same time, or whoever has the better feedback gets the stuff first.it's a pain to keep up with; i keep little records of everything since i usually do a lot at once and have a bad memory. but doing a thing at a time helps cut down on confusion i think. especially on the po runs. i like to mail the day or next day after i get the money so it sucks if you get money a few days a part. it's rockin to help get rid of stuff and get money too. it's definately addicting as hell! ------------------ what's to gain in my selfishness? what will i promote and what will be pushed back? my strength must rise. hope come forward. -zao melody

well, i've only ran into one bad experience... she claims she's sent the item already, but i'm getting stuff from people that i paid for, and i even paid for them later. i'm not a happy camper. but other than that... things have been generally good... and addicting! IP: Logged |

I've only had my money stolen once. Which is actually pretty good since I've been doing this for 2 years. Sadly, it was supposed to be a "sweet" user from Laundro.Other than that, it's all been peaches and cream aside from the fraud bidders. ------------------ <<< manda / strutter joe@j0e.us IP: Logged |
