Okay,
This really really nice guy asked me out today. We were pretty good friends and he is the nicest guy I have ever met. I really like him but I feel really bad about saying yes to going out with him. I just want us to be friends I guess. Anyway, he always talks to me about how much he hates his old girlfriends (keep in mind that we were really good friends). I want to tell him that I only want to be friends and that i still really love him, but i am just not "in love" with him. I like this other guy and he knows that. Well, anyway, he is sooo excited that i said yes that I just can't tell him how I feel. My closest friend is best friends with him and she is really happy aboutus going out, so i can't tell her how I feel, and all my other friends have gone out with him, and are really mad at him for breaking up with them. I don't know what to do, there is no one I can talk about him with either so.......HELP!!!!!! What should I do??????

Try going out with himonce...if your still not interested EXPLAIN that you just like him as a friend . If you don't it will just get harder. Plus, this way you won't be leading him on.

Look. I have this problem often *well not incredibly often* but, when this happens, I am always very upfront about the fact that I am not really looking for a bf but I can always use more friends, then you both will feel more comfortable going out. *dutch, of course!* Guy friends are so MUCH more fun anyway..and u never know, more could come.
