Hiya guys.... I'm jus SOOOOOOOO pissed about how my parents are to me.... I'm 17 years old... *GOD i'm OlD...<?>* and I have a curfew of 9........ 9 o'clocK!!! What the hell am i suppose to do with only 9 hours?!?
Maybe it's cuz i'm asian or watever, but i have SUCH STRICT parents... It's not even funny. I can't go clubbing, can't chill late like everyone else and it jus pisses me off like CRAAAAzY! And to make it worse, it seems like I'M the only one with a very early curfew! (Probably am)
I really don't know what to do cuz my parents think i hang out enough already...
* i go out like twice a week...* hMm. I think the latest i've been home was 1:30. I guess I gotta think about the bright side. They can't do anything when i'm 18 next year! Well i juss wanna know if there's other people like me who are just living with TYRANTS for goddsake... I FEEL ALONE IN THIS WORLD WITH AN EARLY CURFEW!!!!!!!

i know this will make you feel better. my dad wont even let me date!! never!! whenever he see's like 12+ ( well, thats the age when dating starts! ) girls talking about guys he's like* theyre nuts, and changes the channel *. what the f***!! i mean, i dont care. im gonna date whenever i do, im not gonna listen to him!!!

i can understand not going clubbing, but 9 is rather strict.. i'm 16, and i dont really have a curfew- basically if i tell my parenst where i am and keep them updated and check in once in a while, they let me do pretty much whatever.. Of course, I have to manipulate exactly what I tell them or how i phrase the description of just *what* i'm doing at the drive in.. (hotboxing my car and smoking out woo!) .. the only thing other than culture that i can think of that would make your parents so strict (asian roots do seem to be more strict.. i lived in asia for a while... other people survive, you will too!) is if you've betrayed their trust.. try asking them a few specific times in advance if you can do X until X time past your curfew and if they say no point out that you've been on time in the past and you're 17 (do NOT say "but my friends can stay out later!!") blahblahblah, just be really mature about it and say my grades are X its summer i dont have to be up tomorrow to do anything i really want to do this because X .. you know.. try it.

oh yes, and i wasn't really allowed to date until i turned 16 (it was bout the same with my brother but he wasn't very interested) but i dont even bother.. i dunno, i never really got into the "date" thing, just i have alot of male friends.
