sometimes i cant understand parents!today i was wearing my studded wristband to go out. then my dad saw me..
Dad: what is that you're wearing!?
Me: err, a studded wristband? a accessory? something on my hand?
Dad: it looks like a dog collar..
Me: i think it's meant to be..
Dad: it's looks ugly
Me: no..it looks just FINE.
Dad: i'm not going to let you out like that!
Me: why? hey, c'mon dad
Dad: just because everyone else is wearing it, you must wear it!
Me: actually i havent seen any of my friends wearing it....
Dad: TAKE....IT.....OFF
Me: but YOUR dad didnt make you take off YOUR bell bottoms when YOU were a teen when IT WAS IN FASHION...
Dad: .....( speechless)
(i smiles)
dad: young lady take that off or else..
( mom gives cold stare)
( brother tries to stifle laughter)

god, my parents are just sooo... ugh, they have strangle-appeal, y'know?
my mom is sooo annoying -- I think she's obsessive-compulsive or something. she wants the top of my dresser to be completely rid of everything except like, framed photos. if I have ONE body spray there, she throws a fit. And do you know what I hate the most? The chain of why questions.mom: why did you gte a C on your test?
me: I didn't study
mom: why didn't you study?
me: well...
mom: WHY!?
me: I didn't have time
mom: why didn't you have time? what were you doing?
me: other things
mom: what other things?
ETC ETC ETC God, WHY can't she just leave me alone sometime? like, last night which was my school dance, she asked if I needed a ride. I said no and that my friend would get me. Well, THEN she got suspicious and accusing me of not going to a school dance, but to some party with drugs and junk. I yelled at her for accusing me of something so stupid, so then she wouldn't let me go at all. "You'll thank me for this one day." BULLSHIT! Because of her screwed-up sense of logic, I just missed the 8th grade graduation dance. It was a big deal, because I know about 7 people (at the most) whom I'll be seeing next year in school. *lol* My mum does that sometimes. It's usually about me going out though. She thinks that I "run all over the city" if I go out more than once a week. Haahaa.------------------

parents always have, and always be a drag. plain and simple, and unfortunately nothing we can do to change that. my parents are always like worrying about me going to parties, whose going to be there, what are you going to do, is there going to be drinking, i say yes because im honest, and they dont think i will do it, but dont let me go. argh. i have that problem the most.------------------

my parents don't care what i wear... what i listen to... or pretty much what i watch. well, they're rarely home so that's probably why.  my dad'll hassle me a little, but he'll just end up laughing everything off or make up a stupid nickname about it to annoy me with... but it all goes away. my mom gets really pissy, but it eventually wears off too, so...but don't get me wrong... they're still a pain in the ass sometimes. My parents love me and trust me and don't care what I wear or the kind of music I listen to...which is actually the same type as my dad, mostly.My dad's awesome. All of my friends think he's hilarious. (he is, too.) ------------------

my parents dont care what i wear.. only sometimes. like once in the winter i wore this little shirt, and she made me get changed cause she said i looked too easy.. lol.. make it even funner, i madeout with my crush that night, with a sweater on.. haha. my parents dont let me go to this one city at night b/c its a drug city.. cause my dad knows people who live there.. great.. i feel trusted.. not like i'd do anything------------------

My mom is always pissing me off. And she's the only person I live with! The house is always filled with tension. Whenever she annoys me, I always end up cursing at her in English because she only understands Chinese. But now, she's actually learning to tell when I'm swearing at her... so dammit. That really sucks. I don't know if I'm missing out on much being raised by a single mom but sometimes I feel pretty lucky having only to deal with one parent instead of two.

hehehe..my parents can be like that too....
it's mondo annoying, but i guess you learn to deal with it
but most of the time, my parents don't care what i wear....they buy me most of my clothes anyways...
but they don't like it when i buy tube tops...hehehe, they think it's like you wanna go out and attract guys..blah blah blah
and sometimes, my parents can be so sterotypical...i wanted this CUTE ass leather pants, and my dad busted out with.."only black people wear those"
that got me sooooooo pissed...LOL
at least he only does it once in a while

it's always loud here!

Yeah, I am home alone most of the time because my mom has to work to make ends meet. It's never bothered me though because basically I've been taking care of myself since I was 5. So basically, I am very independent and I can rely on myself most of the time. I don't know what I would do without this kind of independence. I couldn't deal with my parents constantly nagging me. So, I moved out. Now I have an apartment all to myself!! And, we get along better then we have in years. I love living alone!------------------

my parents are exactly like yours, exactly. It's scary and really a drag.My parents blame me for everything that my brother or sister do. Ugh!!! I am always the "trouble maker" or the one that is always asking for something. Whenever I walk up to my mom she like, "Wait I'm busy now, I don't have time to get you something" Or when she is on the computer and I walk in the room she says, "Wait, I'm on the computer right now" I mean I'm not always asking for something, or making her do stuff for me. I usually am very independent, so I just don't understand her!!!

Well I sympathize with all of you but be happy to have parents....I never bitch about my Parents anymore becuz my dad died and my mom is really ill so the idea of her dying well makes me appreciate her.You're parents only nag and shit becuz they love you.Just remember that.

well, my mom may have cancer..
she just had her brain scan
i guess my mom's pretty cool..sometimes..
she's the only person i can go shopping with without getting pissed! lol 
she doesnt really make a big fuss bout my clothes..that time she even encouraged me to get this oriental print tube dress! but i didnt buy it in the end cause it was kinda steep...
my dad is really funny, but sometimes he's in a bad mood cause at work, the site at which he's human resource manager, the chemical plant cant start.
if it doesnt get working by july 1 they'll all lose their jobs..
and everyday he gets a million and one complaints ...
