I found those protests to be stupid & not necessary. It made me angry that these people had no consideration for the people who worked in DC. Don't get me started.

Anything that puts my family in danger angers me and doesn't win my vote.

My friend's sister went to the ones in Seattle, and thankfully she wasn't involved in the rioting and wasn't arrested. It's crazy how out-of-hand protests like these can get. In the midsts of the violence, no one's going to listen to the message. It just looks like a bunch of stupid kids out there causing trouble.

My english writing teacher went. We had a big discussion about it during class one day.He was pepper sprayed by riot police while he was walking back to his hotel one night. There was a curfew on but he had permission to atten a teach-in.

I do feel bad for the people who live in the cities, but it's for a really good cause. Besides, 90% of the people there were all for peaceful protesting. There was a few anarachist groups that came down from somewhere{I forget exactly} THEY were the ones who strted the smashing windows and stuff.Plus the evil media and evil police were there too.
