my computer died. yeah. we had to start everything over. install EVERYTHING. my mom's at work and i'm not sure if i was supposed to install the internet, but i needed to get on! and the colors are all messed up and grainy...i think i may have done something bad
just wanted to let you guys know i didnt die...just my computer.
my mom thought i took my brothers meds because without the net or anything to do i started cleaning the house and rearranging everything. well. aloha

damn. i hate it when that happens. my old computer used to crash like every other week... :\

if it's any consolation, i know how to fix the color problem. right click on the desktop + go to the display properties thing. click the settings tab. the colors thing is probably set to 16 or 256 + the screen area is probably @ 640x480. set them to like 16-bit color + 800x600. that should help quite a bit.

The color thing happened to me not too long ago. I needed a new driver.

Solution is simple (if indeed that is the problem). Go to the website for your 'puter manufacturer, check out their tech support, if you can, email them and they will tell you exactly what to do and should have the driver, etc..you need to install right on their site.

see, that would be just great if we could get in contact with the computer company...we have a 3 year warranty on it and would have gotten a new computer EXCEPT the company seems to have vanished off the planet. (Kier Futurist???) anyone heard of it? grrrr....i cant stand being online with the colors like this!
