Just go to the bank dear When I got back from Mexico I had a lot of mexican money left so I just went to the bank and exchanged it. The currency rate sucks sometime though.------------------ manda panda // strutter in the sea of life, you're just a minnow. IP: Logged |

heheusually I just keep the US $$ I get and sent it out to buy other stuff. but, I'm lucky, I got my personal bank hehe. I sometimes exchange US$ for Aussie dollors with my mum, cos she's planning to visit america eventually, so we both skip the bank fees. ------------------ http://www.dazed.org/amulet http://www.dazed.org/halftone http://www.dazed.org/boards http://www.dazed.org IP: Logged |

rosanna, i use the $ i get from zine orders and from auctions to pay for stuff i want. if it's a big non-auction order, i exchange pesos with my dad because he has an account at an american bank. but yeah, it totally sucks because the exchange rate is soaring.. if you auction something off you can charge less and less for it but if you want to buy something you're spending even more! argh! also, i think the exchange rate is responsible for slowing the mail down.. everything i get these days was sent like a month ago. yeah, it went up to 45 at the beginning of '98.. then it went down, and it was doing okay for awhile but then the hostages were taken. that week it went WAY down. you could really see the drop in the chart in the inquirer. but yeah, it means the money people send us is worth more. it's probably a good idea to exchange it now before it stabilizes!------------------ bombs for breakfast - board IP: Logged |
