Hey everyone! Miss Jina is leaving tomorrow, June 8th, to venture out on an Alaskian Cruise and I won't be back until June 18th! I can't wait it will be so much fun. Has anyone else ever been on a cruise and do you get sea sick easy?------------------ Jina ****** (laundro) Koreanchik (e) joe@j0e.us (n) formerly Lil Korean Munchkin ****** IP: Logged |

ooh, that's cool. I'm going on a cruise to the Carribean, but not until next April...my school sets one up for students and community members every other year. I've been on three cruises (one in French Polynesia, two in the Caribbean) and unless you're *very* sensitive on boats, you won't get sick at all... most cruise ships nowadays are like floating cities - unless you go onto the deck and peer over the side of the boat, you won't even realize that you're on a ship.Have fun!! I've always wanted to go on a cruise to Alaska. ------------------ what a girl wants, what a girl needs: cornices and moguls! ris@ebay - http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/spootster/ ris@laundro - https://laundromatic.j0e.us/cgi-bin/laundro.cgi?justdisp&Ris IP: Logged |

I've been on 2 cruises and was seasick the first day for both of them-- but only because I'm very prone to that kinda stuff. If you don't get airsick easily then you're not likely to get seasick on a cruise. It also depends on whether your ship is big or small, I think. The ship I took when I went to the Mediterranean was small so it was "rockier". The bigger ones might have better stabilizers and whatnot. (Unfortunately my dinner seating was apparently above an engine of the big ship, so it wasn't always so pleasant... bump bump : P Have fun! Eat lots... ; ) IP: Logged |
