Hey. I've got a general question for any one who's ever donated blood. Or who's had their blood take for some reason or another.

My friend gave blood yesterday and now he has this bruise on his arm around the place where they injected the needle.

I also donated blood but I don't have any bruises of any sorts. Is this something he should be worried about?

as far as i know, it's not rare or anything. my sister bruises when she has blood drawn. it's just kinda like when you get a shot & you bruise a little... nothing serious.

I asked my parents, and they said that sometimes they bruise, sometimes they don't, but it's no big deal, nothing to worry about.

my friend got blood taken and she bruised because the nurse did it wrong, but she was okay
