yeppers. use that in geometry 9th grade and again in precalculus 11th, course, you go into much more detail in that class. plus, if you take the s.a.t.'s, that'll pop up again.------------------ the blind leading the blind http://www.geocities.com/equal_gurl not afraid to spill some ink http://www.geocities.com/sammie_ammie IP: Logged |

i had 7th grade advanced math when i was in 5th grade, so i learned it a good 5-6 years ago.you'll usually start learning it sometime in middle school or whenever you take geometry. IP: Logged |

Heh. I remember that stuff. I first learned how to do those particular kinds of problems in 4th grade. I was in some special program that we called Gifted or Enrichment that met every day for a couple hours each week. We learned at an accelerated pace than the regular classes. However, I didn't get full-blown Geometry until 7th grade. And then again in 9th grade after I swichted schools. IP: Logged |

this test paper was published in britain...so yeh, show your working, i am used to it, in fact, show your work seems weird...very weird...i am in 8th grade (7th technically if in the US), i don't remember learning it, shrugs but i should have since it wouldn't be on the test paper, maybe i've been talking in class for too long, and didn't get round it...lol wait, i learned that in primary 5 (grade 4)...oppps, i remember...it had all those hard stuff, and i was in the top set, i was too stupid to be in the top set, lol...bah... i don't like maths that much, shrugs it's not that bad... Math is my worst subject. Besides French. I learnt that Pie stuff in Gr.8 (and this is the only stuff that I found easy. Besides percentage). I think we learnt a little bit of that in earlier grades, too. IP: Logged |
