i heard dreamhost is awful! some hosts that i heard are pretty good and sorta cheap are http://www.netherweb.com/ - $10/month,www.your-site.com,and http://your-site.com/ has some links.

intellstat.com is what i use.. i get it free because i know one of the two owners, but they basically give you a deal that fits your income.
plus they're really cool and chas is really hot *grin*
