so i've been on laundro for about 2 weeks now, gotten some good feedback, managed to clean out my dorm room, but now i'm home and my life is a mess!

so tuesday is my 2yr annerversary with my boyfriend from highschool (cute i know we met in english class) but he was mad at me for some unknown reason so it wasn't sweet. he decided that he hated the phone (we're like 500 miles apart when we're at school) and didn't want to talk to me until i came home. fine.

i drove in a lightning storm to see him on wed, and all was well. then i came home where i am now, and i call him and he is being mean again. i swear i can never win. i've missed him so much, and now he's managed to book up his life so it will be a week before i see him again when we used to see each other every day when i was home. grrr. i hope this blows over because i wanted to spend alot of time with him since i'm going to ENGLAND for a semester which is very far away.

so i'm ok because there's lots to do in my room, which is a DISASTER. i somehow developed a liking for neat rooms while in school, and i come home to an impossiable goal. there is so much stuff already in here that i can't fit my college stuff in here too. it's so frustrating because i just have so much stuff, and i want it all to be away. i can't really concentrate on much else (like the next issue of my zine that i'd like to finish soon) with this mess.

i have alot of great stuff that i'm putting up for auction as fast as i can to try to make some room in this little room. i am the biggest packrat ever and trying to reform so do check out my stuff. it's alot more interisting than the stuff i pulled out in the past.

i espically want to make a note of my clothes. i love my clothes, but last summer i found out that i had gallstones and had to go on a strict diet or get my gallbladder removed. i chose the diet, lost 30lbs and NOTHING fits me anymore. i'm donating alot, but putting the neat (for lack of a better word) stuff up for auction (wishing it was sunnier so my webcam would take better pictures) and the sizes range alot so check back often on my user page

hopefully once these auctions end i will be able to ship out a good portion of my room and continue the unpacking process.

here are my goals for summer
1.empty my room
2.get enough money to have fun in england (they recomend $3000 EEEK)
3.finish at least one issue of my zine
4.do well in my drawing & photography classes
5.spend lots of time with my boyfriend
6.have fun during my week at the beach
7.find a way to make a semester of items (august-december) fit in one suitcase!

i'm going to go make a donation now and resist the urge to buy!

update: the boy is being sweet again (he's a computer nrrd so i just have to talk about linux a little)

my room is still a disaster, but i'm making progress...a laundromatic pile and a tag sale pile.

i also bought two cute shirts in macy's today...they were only $16 for both *big* sale so i was happy!! this does not help the space situation in my closet, but oh well...

Whew... that's quite a lot going on at once, Brooke... but I can emphasize with you on the "need to clean out my room" thing. I'll be packing up to head off to college, too (although I'll be two hours driving away as opposed to ten hours flying away) and I have *no* idea what to do with all of this stuff in my room. The difference between you and me is that you've got the cool stuff, and I've got the stuff that I'd have to pay someone to take away
