LoL, doesn anyone know how to turn on a scanner? *feeling like an idiot* The brand is like a Umax or sumthin, I wanna scan some pics of the stuff I am sellin for u guyz! Help! :-P

hehe, i dont have to turn on mine. it just automatically goes when i go to the start menu on windows 95 and click.

i have an IBM...when you plug it into the electrical socket the lil green button goes on and then its automatically turned on. look around for a button or something and be sure that its properly connected to the computer

Well, it sometimes doesn't work if you plug in your scanner AFTER your computer's been turned on. So you might have to try restarting your computer. Then it should work

hehe. :P to get mine to work I have it plugged into the back of my computer and as well, into my power bar.

But sometimes it still doesn't work. =) just because it hates me.

Heh. To get mine to work, I have to go the the 'Start' menu and then to 'Programs' and then to 'Vista Scan' and then to 'Scan Button On'. After that, my scanner warms up for a minute or so before I can scan. After warming up, all I have to do it push the little button on the lower left hand corner of my scanner and *then* it works.
