algebra is frustrating the crap outta me right now. my teacher sucks and is forever confusing us with her teaching. take imaginary numbers, for example. two days ago, everyone understood how do the thing with square roots and the i, but after her "teaching" us, everyone is SOOOO confused, it's not even funny.WE HAVE 14 MORE CLASSES UNTIL WE HAVE TO TAKE THE FINAL. IT'S 1/3 OF OUR FINAL GRADE, EVERYONE FAILED THE MIDTERM, AND IT'S HARDER THAN THAT WAS!!! can you see why I'm just a *smidge* frustrated? ugh...hehe IP: Logged |

just a smidge frustrated? i'd be pissed off.  i love algebra. okay, love is too strong a word. ..."love" should have been read as: i'm really good @ it & think it's incredibly easy so i don't mind it @ all. so, back to what i was originally gonna say. i'm fine with algebra. my geometry teacher's just like yr algebra teacher, so i'm kinda screwed over in that subject. Ahh! I HATE Algebra. My teacher is the same way, he can't teach at all.. and he makes it so confusing, even when it is easy. He is so stupid.  I average a C in Algebra, my lowest grade.IP: Logged |

Ooooh, I HATE algebra too. I'm taking advanced algebra right now and I haven't done homework in that class at all, it's so damn confusing. Last week, our teacher stepped out for about 10 minutes so another math teacher took over during those 10 minutes. She explained it so clearly and wonderfully I think I learned more in those 10 minutes than I did during the whole school year. I failed last semester, gonna fail this semester too. ------------------

Well, AP Calculus is just a real picnic over here, you guys  CBG - heeeyy... if you ever need help w/ homework or whatever, let me know. I read somewhere that you're going to be having to take summer school classes or something over the summer - I'm not busy this summer (other than working and clubbing, heh) so if you need another brain to figure out some math problem, you can give me a ring! I do CSF tutoring already, so it wouldn't be a problem. ------------------

i just hate all math.when i first started doing algebra in 9th grade, it was so confusing... i'd be thinking "why are all these damn letters in here??!". heh. it was funny at the time. i'm sure you'll do alright on your final. at least your exam isn't the only thing that determines whether or not you pass the course. it's like that here in scotland and it's very stressful. oh well. pointless rambling. sorry. ------------------

blah. my friends are trying to help me out...but I hate it cuz they all explain it too me like I'm two. I mean, I understand some parts of it, like the theorems and stuff, but there's just some formulas and crap that confuse me to bits. but they don't understand that, so they sit there and explain every blessed thing, which gets annoying after a bit. *sigh* oh well...they're just trying to help...hehe IP: Logged |

talking about teachers that never explain anything. On Thursday, i couldn't go to my math class ( like half the math class didn't go either ), because the ' band ' people are gonna be marching in the memorial day parade, and we had to practice, etc.. So, i didn't learn/understand the lesson they did while i wasnt there. so, next day this teacher gives us a pop quiz, and half the class doesn't know how to do it!!! guess what? i got a ZERO, yes, a big fat ZERO on my quiz... this is such a BiG DEAL TO ME!------------------

wooooooo i dropped all math classes my senior year... i went from being recommended to ap calculus, to moving down to intro to calc, to dropping math altogether. i'm happy ------------------
