I go for the star stuff. I have glow in the dark stars all over my room and I am hoping to get star pillows and star room lights. My main colors in my room are blue and yellow.------------------

My room has white walls with purple baseboards and the rest of the room is decorated in Hello Kitty. It's too cute. ------------------

my walls are painted sky blue, my comforter, etc. are a really pale yellow and i have misc. yellow stars....paper covers the entire floor. you literally cannot walk in my room without stepping all over poetry and prose. ------------------

my room. yay.the walls are painted blue and green. the ceiling's white, with glow in teh dark stars.
um, i don't have many posters up. i used to. now all i have is mah fave pumpkins poster. i have hardwood floors, which are actually clean right now.. minus the huge pile of rave flyers i'm planning to decorate mah closet with  ------------------

colorful. very. my room used to be mainly white, silver/gray & light blue, but i wanted more color & my mom hired someone to come in & paint the walls with this awesome solar system kinda design... if you've seen the cover of the new no doubt cd, that's what my walls look like...dark bright blue, with giant planets & stars & stuff. the stars are painted on the wall & glow in the dark too. it's awesome. mostly bright colors though. i've got a white marble floor in my bedroom (very, very cold floor), but i've got a huuuge hot pink shag rug on top. ------------------

my room is so messy, but yea. okay, my actual bedroom has white walls, and hardwoodfloor. on my door i have a huuuuge door collage w/my crap - my name, mag cut outs, a couple of rave flyers, pix, blah blah. on the wall my bed is up against is a scrawl wall - i've got little notes from friends, little drawings, "notes to self", and junk all in the same color markers as my bedspread.. which is all kinds of brite colors. glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. fishing wire going across my ceiling in misc ways with funky inflatable glow in the dark stars hanging from it. it's kind of dark in there since i don't have a ceiling light (i have a tall lamp with a big white light on the top, and colored spotlights on the sides of the.. stick thing? holding it up), so the stars are always glowin'. my cds and music accessories totally dominate one corner, and my laptop is usually sprawled across my bed, along with the rest of my life :pi have a small room off of my room, which is splatter painted walls. green, blue, and black butterfly chairs. my tv is on a little light wood stand. the bathroom is also splattered, white tiles, with some funky green blue and black accessories. muwahaha my room most likely sounds like a bunch of cluttered garbage, but i <3 it. ------------------

methyl - i wanted something like that my parents won't go for it. my mother is a realtor, and her only thoughts are "that's too dark! when we sell this house, who the hell will want dark walls with some space junk on them?" << quoted directly------------------

Awww, "space junk" is awesome! You should see my aunt's room, she's an arist and she airbrushed her ENTIRE room with these amazing pics of different things from space (galaxies, stars, planets, black holes,etc). It looks like some wall at a museum or something. My room's messy but pretty cool. I've got a drum set and 3 guitars and amps in there so it's pretty crowded. But I don't mind in the slightest. My walls are covered in bands pics, flyers from punk shows, memorabilia from concerts, pics of Billy Corgan & co., Beastie Boy posters, and just assorted pics of friends, drawings, etc. I think that's more fun that a theme. ------------------

i dont live in any really nice part of new york...so my house is kinda small =]...which means my room is mega small. it has a bed on one side of the wall, and a dresser on the other side, leaving one and only one walkway to get in and out of my room. it's cozy thoug h =] since there's nothing to do in my room cause there is no space....i dont redecorate it, like paint the walls and stuff. so it's been pink + white forever. i have a wall with about 4 green day posters, a 99 calendar(so what if i like to reuse my calendar ), and green day clippings all over...lots of stuff. and there's glow in the dark stars all over my ceiling and i have a string of stars going across the ceiling as well yay. and my dresser is FULL of crap, and im serious..like you can't see the top cause it's cluttered with lots of stuff i haven't touched in years. i also have a nice huge clothing stack that makes me sound even more messy.. =] oh yeaaaa.------------------

mine: very dainty like. it has pictures of me, a puppy poster, millions of stuffed animals, a purple comforter with flowers, matching pillows, very girly and soft. (im not very girly girl, but i like the room. mehehe)IP: Logged |

*high fives all around* hmm i just took all the pix i had on my walls, and im redercoration. I dont know what im gonan do yet though. i got a million glow in the dark stars to put on the ceiling, and some lepard print stuff, so thats a good start------------------

here's what my room looks like:i've got a big, fluffy white goose down comforter on my bed. *if you jump hard enough on it, feathers fly everywhere* my computer is set up in one corner, next to my "diy desk," where i make all of my stuff. i guess you could call it a "creative corner." (corny, yes, i know.) hmm...what else? my room is kinda plain, besides the five star wars posters on my wall (i've seen the phantom menace five times in the theater!) ------------------

My room's white right now with a bunch of posters and glow in the dark stars, but this summer I'm going to take everything down and paint it a silvery sky blue and put up my NEW glow in the dark stars that are awesome and put back the posters. An idea though, I used to want my room like a dark navy blue with glitter and kind of silvery with white carpet(or else it'd be too dark) and the put up glow in the darks stars and paint stars all over. I always thought that that would be cool. Just an idea.

I have by bed shoved up against the wall, a crappy huge white bookcase, a dresser and a desk taking up most of the room. I have a big bay window though, that has a ledge thing, tahts supposed to be a window seat but I took the pillow that your supposed to sit on off and painted it white, and now I have my altar there! Hmm...what else is there to my room? Well, I have Smashing Pumpkins posters all over the place! (Smashing PUNKin, you sound like my kinda homie! LOL) And a funky ass bulliten board that I glued ads to the cork and stick stuff on it with funky tacks...I have a nifty trash can. And a really cool hindu poster thing on the wall and a Indian wooden angel thing hanging from the cieling. its pretty nifty! But my room kinda sucks, because the desk is from 2nd grade and so is my dresser and it has heart stickers on it. Bleh.------------------

I copy-pasted this from one of those long survey emails I passed around about a month ago, so don't think I wrote this... anyway, here's what's on the walls of my room: quote:
*ahem* Ski trail maps/photos of skiers/postcards from Tahoe, a world map that I continually update, an R.E.M. poster, a giant metal key from my grandparents' hardware store, a Yosemite poster, a RENT poster, some sports + academic awards plaques, my rejoicing pictures picture, my cloud postcards, my "God Stuff", movie ticket stubs (41 at last count), two bulletin boards (one with stuff, the other with photos of shady characters -- you all!), two $2 bills, a personal check from Geneva, the cover of "Premiere" magazine with Matt Damon, an Abercrombie ad, an Anggun poster, my autographed Dance Hall Crashers poster, a poster of a scene from Wallace + Gromit's "A Close Shave", a sanitary napkin ad featuring a chick named Marisa, and various other odds and ends. (My dad painted my room when I was in the fourth grade, and he painted it the wrong color... thus, for the past nine years, I've attempted to cover as much wall space as aesthetically possible. I've done a pretty good job of it.)
Besides that, I have a lot of furniture in my room and not much walking space: my bed, my dresser, my computer, a nightstand that's used as a stereo table, a wooden filing cabinet, bookshelves... ------------------

my room's kinda cluttered.. i spend most of my time in it so i guess i like it. i like it most when it's clean, but i keep it messy. there's no "theme."
on the door outside is a piece of paper that says "Willow's Room" in a 60's font. then you walk in. you close the door. on the back of the door is a life size poster of derek jeter but its covered by my black cape. look to your right and its my closet!! theres a Counting Crows "This Desert Life" cover art poster. then on the wall behind my comp is a nirvana poster with some nirvana pics. on the wall to the side of my bed is a huuuuge wall of all Jonny Lang pics, an Andy Pettitte poster (a baseball player), pics of adam sandler, and jewel pictures. above my bed is a pic of me with jonny lang, some pics of janis joplin, some pics of dave matthews, susan tedeschi, a wolf, andy pettitte, adam duritz, one jonny lang pic,and a women-in-rock collage.
also i have a bernie williams poster (baseball) and a janis joplin poster. and a yankees huge collage poster i made. next to my closet is my guitar, and my comp, then my tv, on one wall there are 2 windows one has my cd collection in front of it. in the corner below my janis joplin poster is all my beanie babies and stuffed animals and figurines that i got as gifts from friends.

My friends call my room the "Sex" room just becuz of the way it looks, I don't remember what color the walls are they are covered in Movie posters, I have some really spiffy Colored christmas twinkle lights all around my room and bed frame, I have a big trunk covered in Pro Wrestlers  I have my tv and stereo on top of that..I painted my dresser in a weird design with like 16 colors hehe.I have tons of leopard print,My bedspread sheets and pillows are all leopard along with this cool little nightstand and my alarm clock.My room is a big color and design mix up. But it does kinda look kinky due to the lighting and what not ------------------
