Ah! One of the most embarassing things happened to me last week at the mall...

I was in Pacific Sunwear, and saw a pair of cute Roxy jean shorts. Thinking I might buy it, I tucked it under my arm and continued looking around the store. Three minutes later, my friends and I left the store - and I completely forgot about the shorts under my arm! I guess I held onto it unconciously, thinking it was a shopping bag or something.

We were walking around the mall and went into a music store and noticed this guy was running after us. He was like, "Miss, you have our shorts." And I said, "Oh my GOSH! I am SO sorry....I'm sorry..." He just gave me this really mean look that just read, "Oh, you bad teenagers!" Ah!

I still feel sooo guilty, even if I totally forgot I was holding the shorts. I'm the last person who would ever steal! Heh.. I don't know if I can walk into that store again. ;X ::hides::

Well. Just thought I'd share. Anyone else have embarassing mall stories?

hehehehe...

once i was in this mall on the escalator when i swung my foot back and my shoe flew and almost hit this guy on the forehead. i had to go down..hopping on one foot and i picked it up right beside his feet.

another one was when i was on the escalator (yes, again..escalators hate me) i was in the edge of the step when i slipped that sent me tumbling down a step or 2 on my butt!!!

OMG! okay, I was at Abercrombie and Fitch and I had my little brother with me.. At the time my brother was 6. Well, I loved this sweater and I didn't have enough money with me, so I put it back. My brother went up, took the sweater, and stuck it in my gap bag, since he didn't know any better. I was walking out, and the alarm or anything didn't go off! I was outside the story, and my brother goes "Look what I got you!" and he took the sweater out of my bag. I started screaming at him. Then I went back into AF, and I was just going to put it back, but this really hot guy working said, "I just saw you walk into the store with that, you can't put it back." I tried to explain what happened, but he didn't believe me. He said "Next time this happens, I will call your parents."

Hehe. I have a stealer story.

Ya know how Claires has all the "princess" stuff? Tiaras, feather boas...etc. Well, me and my friends were putting it all on & looking dumb. Then we took it all off and left. I'm halfway thru the mall and I look down and I'm still wearing one of the necklace. I freaked out. I knew if I took it back they wouldn't believe me so I just kinda put it on one of the carts in the mall Oi.

Hmm... I have a few good mall stories.

(1) I was trying on one of those vvvv shaped headbands for the first time at Claire's, and I guess it really didn't click with me, because I couldn't get the thing off my head... it must have looked as if I was struggling for my life trying to untangle it from my hair and my neck. Youch.

(2) My friends and I were doing a video for my Spanish class about the mall (el centro comercial!) and I was videotaping while going down the escalator. And yep, you guessed it - I completely missed the end of the escalator and tripped out into the center of the mall, camcorder in hand.

Oh, and one more, my favorite...

(3) I bought a skirt from the LIMITED and I guess that they forgot to take off the plastic security tag, because I was *wearing* the skirt to work a few weeks later, sat down, and felt something poking me in the leg. And lo and behold, the tag was still there and everyone on the bus to and from work must have seen it. It took a good pair of pliers and twenty minutes to get that tag off.

1)I was shopping with my little sister and she knocked over the manakin. I was so embarassed and we were kicked out of the store.

2)I was at the store with my little brother and I wasn't holding his hand and he wondered off. i was looking at a sweater and all of a sudden I heard a screaming. It was my brother, he was screaming because he thought I had left him there.

omg! that happened to me yesterday at disco fun night at school ( we had a dance in one room, and like games in another room there.. ) so, then me and my friend took these free poloroid pics, and theyre were like disco ball earings, necklaces, sunglasses.. etc so you can just wear them during the picture. i chose the sunglasses. i totally forgot i had them on, and i left. and then one of the teachers came running my name, and i was like *omg, im sooo sorry!*lol

i remember doing this quite a few times.

when i was little, i had *sticky fingers.* i wouldn't let go of anything that i touched. one time, i went into the candy store and walked out with a huge jar of lollipops. the cashier didn't do anything because she was in such shock.

at least i don't have a criminal record for doing that.

Just about last week, this happened.

I was in Foleys and had a swimsuit around my arm. Just the bottoms. And I walked right out of the store without realizing I had it in my arms!! Walked ALL the way across the mall to Payless, set all my bags and stuff down to try on shoes, looked down and realized I had carried it out of the store! OH my god, I was scared. I just walked back across the mall, walked in, set it down where it belonged, and walked right back out. No one ever noticed.

I went to American Eagle and I bought a shirt. Afterwards we went to Pacific Sunwear and when we were going in two guys were comming out. Well the alarm went off and they searched the two guys but not me. When I was done looking around I came out and the alarm went off, they searched my AE bag and all they saw was a shirt from there so they let me go. Then when i got back home I noticed they forgot to take off the metal thing at AE, not only did I get searched I also got two inoccent guys in trouble.. heh
