I've got a lot of my auction winners asking me to ship packages to PO Boxes. I think I remember my Post Office telling me that Priority Mail won't deliver packages addressed to PO Boxes. Is that true?

I'm curious about that. If you send packages to PO Boxes and they're too large for the PO Box, what happens?

Heh. Randi, I was just wondering the same thing. PO Boxes are in the post office, right? I think what they do is put a little notice in your box and the put the package in another room somewhere. Then, when you get the notice and want to pick up the package, you take the notice to a desk somewhere and then they go get it for you from the storage room place thinger. Eh, that's just what I think.

Here's the dish on PO boxes (from my experience, anyway...)

YES, you can send packages, priority or not, large or small. If they don't fit in your PO box, they inclose a key to one of their public boxes which is large enough to hold the package.

$300 a year? Wow! It costs me just under $50 a year ($25 for 6 months), but I have a regular sized small one.

Randi, they either leave you a note in the po box saying you have to pick it up behind the desk, or they leave you a key to another po box
