if only the people with usernames starting with a-f got all their feedback back, maybe no one should have gotten it back. i mean, it's not really fair that they're the only ones that can get all of it back. i've had a helluva time trying to get mine back, but i can't find or remember most of the people i had feedback from...IP: Logged |

it is unfair, but we SHOULD be thankful laundro is up and the girls are doing their best to make is pleasent for everyone.------------------

i'm new here, and in the middle of trades and buys so i haven't got any feedback fr this site yet, but i do agree with methyl that it isn't fair to people plagued with last names after f. the fair way would have been to not grant any feedback back to anyone unless it could go to everyone. simple solution.------------------
what's to gain in my selfishness? what will i promote and what will be pushed back? my strength must rise. hope come forward.

I didn't know that's what happened. Grr. But I guess life goes on, I don't really make all that many deals here anymore so I guess feedback isn't all that important although it is pretty unfair that I lost mine just because my name started with an S. Another thing I'm sorta upset about is that I'm back at newbie b/c I had to re-register and I've been here for a year. So that makes it hard to distinguish me from the hordes of new people showing up here(welcome, welcome). Ah well, enough whining. At least Laundro's back up and this stuff couldn't have been helped.------------------

We had saved member files, but they were deleted off the hard drives of those who had saved them. By chance I had the files A through F. It was unfair, but it was the least I could do for those who's USERNAMES started with A through F. I'm sorry we did not have everyones.And now you needn't worry about that happening in the future, because our server makes back ups every once and awhile. IP: Logged |

i think it is rather shitty that some people get theirs back, but others don't...just because you have 0 feedbacks does not mean you are a bad user. i don't like that at all.. no one will buy something from you if you have zero feedback and the person whose name starts with "A-F" has 100000 comments. i think that if some people had to start anew, everyone should have. ------------------

I agree with everyone that we all should have gotten the feedback back or none at all, but the funny thing is that before I had a name A-F (daria1299) and I didn't get MY feedback back. So, maybe those people didn't get their feedback back because I didn't...I dunno.------------------

hey. well, what happened to LaundroMatic was *completely* out of our hands. if you'll notice, the problem still has not been amended. the only reason some of us had the files on our hard drive was because of the move from brokentoy to delish. the server that delish was on was supposed to make backups, as most servers do. however, they appear to be inadequate in this area. the only reason we offered the feedback was because randi had some leftover on her hard drive. the remaining feedback files that the other staffers had were deleted, as it was assumed they would no longer be needed. But, the unthinkable happened, unfortunately -- and here we are. We just wanted to help those users that we could, not favor any particular group of people or be unfair. And if you didn't get your old feedback back, it is probably because a) your email was overlooked [in that case, i am truly sorry] or b) you didn't request it. please try to understand. thanks! - tree ------------------

i think everyone's feedback should have just started back at 0. that way everyone is on the same level. i know i did my best to get all the positive feedback's that i had,and now i'm back at like 1,where other's have 50+.IP: Logged |

Hmm... I had around 50+ feedbacks from before Laundromatic was deleted, and I was honestly a little perturbed when they were all lost. But you know something? Feedback's just a number - it's the quality of the feedback that you have right now that counts. If you have just 1 or 2 comments from reputable and frequent users, why would someone have reason not to trust you? Plus, Laundromatic is a community - so people know other users, and it's not like you're completely starting anew. ------------------
