It's short for ad envelope - magazine advertisements folded neatly into an envelope. They're pretty cool, actually.

I wish I were patient enough to make them. I doubt I'd do it right, anyway.

Can someone give me some kind of step-by-step walk-through of how to make an ad envelope? I was never the fancy letter-folding type.
