how many pen pals do you all have, and how long have you been palling? me--i have around 20. i started writing to pals when i was 6, but i only started exchanging fbs and stuff when i was 9, so that's 6 years. whoa. IP: Logged |

errr, i have about, 15...but we haven't been keeping in touch, lol, they are bad, but i am equally bad :P
i need to write to 4 of my pen pals :P

Right now I have like 15 pen pals from all over. I am doing alright send them letters but getting them sent out is tough since I am ALWAYS low on cash, haha. I got my first pen pal in 1997, when I was...13! I think...lol. She was from Hawaii and I found her through freezone, I think that is what it's called. I haven't heard from her in a LONG time though. Oh well! I just recently started swapping fbs and stuff.------------------

i started when i was 8 with one pen pal in australia. then i got about 60 when my mom put my name in a magazine and i started swapping fb's (when i was 9 or 10)... but slowly people have worked their way online and i have about 15 snail mail pen pals still left and 60+ online. so i guess that makes 9 years for me.------------------

Holy... I could never keep up with sending snail mail to over twenty people... I'm slow enough on responding and stuff. I have about five or six snail mail pals(eh, I think the other girl gave up on me. Oh well.) And I owe ALL of them letters, except one- still! Sigh. I can't keep up (so that's why I can't imagine to even writing to ONE more person.) I met one of my acutally current pals through Freezone when we were 11-12 (I'm fifteen now), and she only lived four hours away... we met up once. i've been palling for about three years. i have about 10 serious pallies, and then about 20 swapper pallies. woo------------------

I have around 40+. I've been palling since 3rd grade and I am in 9th grade now, so like 6 years!! I've done it for a long time and I love it...By the way, if anyone wants to write me, they can...

Well, i have about 10-15.. i can't actually remember, but they are such darlings. I met two of them last year. One was from Sweden, but i only got to see her for about half an hour, but the other.. i went to Germany and spent a day with her.. it was fab. People.. stay in touch with those pals.. it gives you great opportunities for travel!Well.. next year, i know this isn't snail mail pals, but i'm meeting a bunch of email people.. i can't wait. It's going to be great, i can tell.. plus i get to come over to the US. YAY!! oops, oh yeah, how long i've been palling. Since i was about 6, i used to write to someone i knew.. then i got penpals when i was 9 but we lost touch when i was about 12/13 then about 2/3 years ago i started it up again and have been going since. ------------------

I have around 20+ penpals right now and they're all great~ It's hard to keep up with sometimes, but it's so fun to receive letters all the time~ I've been penpalling since when I was about 8, and I'm 16 now, so it's *gasp* 8 years? I started to swap Fb's and stuff last September, so it's a little over half a year! ------------------
